Temporal Twist is a small application written in C# by Sean Garrett to adjust the tempo of digital audio files. Like many Open Source applications it was written to scratch an itch: too many things to listen to and not enough time to do so.

It makes use of Windows Presentation Foundation which is not yet available in the Mono implementation of the CLR so people on non-Microsoft platforms will have to wait until that arrives.

Temporal Twist is released under a BSD style Open Source License.

Temporal Twist uses the following Third Party Libraries under the hood:

FFmpeg is a complete, cross-platform solution to record, convert and stream audio and video. It includes libavcodec - the leading audio/video codec library.

TagLib# is a .NET library capable of reading and writing both the basic and advanced tagging information stored in popular audio formats. The majority of the code and the underlying framework is a port of the TagLib tagging library from C++ to C# on .NET and Mono.

Avalon Controls Library

AvalonControlsLibrary is a set of WPF controls that can help WPF developers while developing applications. The library includes a WPF Date picker, Time Picker and loads of other stuff...

SoundStretch Audio Processing Utility

SoundStretch is a command-line program that performs SoundTouch library effects on WAV audio files.
